About the Concert Presentation
The concert will be presented on the ESO YouTube Channel in two parts. Links to both parts will be available on the Zoom party page, and on the ESO Facebook page and website starting on Saturday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
PART ONE again includes NEW recordings by small ensembles associated with the orchestra and commentary by our Music Director Walter Morales. Participating groups include ESO String Ensemble, Aeolian Winds, Unity Brass, Barclay String Quartet, Desperate Measures, and ESO String Quintet. These groups will feature exciting music by Mozart, Molnar-Suhajda, Mandel/Webster, Medaglia, Ewald, and Grigg.
In PART TWO we will again experience the exciting celebration of our 30th anniversary concert in May 2018 at Carnegie Music Hall with Tina Faigen’s magnificent performance of movements 2&3 of Brahms D-Minor Piano Concerto.
